Emerald Outback is part of the Beech Mountain Adventure Trail park and features 8 miles of hiking trails near Beech Mountain, NC. These trails traverse the beautiful mountain country and nearly everywhere on the trail hikers are treated to stunning mountain top views. Small waterfalls and creeks are an added perk, and make this area a must see for every hiker!<br />
These trails are multi-use trails so be courteous to mountain bikers and trail runners
You Can Park at the Chamber of Commerce, then take ski loft road up around the corner, going around the gate and continuing up OZ road across the ski slopes. From there you can either: Take a right on Pinnacle Ridge Road, go about 1/4 mile and you will see a trail access on your left.<br /><br />or, take a left and go up about 50 yards, and you'll see the trail access on your right. trails are now well marked, and should be easy to find.
